Cruise on Nepessing returns to Historic Downtown Lapeer with a temporary new layout for the 2026 season. 🚗 This long-running Monday night tradition will continue during construction, with the cruise area adjusted to help keep more public parking available along Nepessing Street.
This year’s cruise set-up will be between Court Street and Saginaw Street, with additional space on a portion of Pine Street. Guests can find the DJ, driver ticket, and information table near the corner of Pine Street and Nepessing, by Fae & Wimsey Soapworks.
Participants and visitors should plan for a slightly different flow and a bit more walking, while continuing to support the brick-and-mortar businesses along Nepessing Street. Grab dinner, shop local, enjoy a cold beverage, and help keep this 20+ year community tradition rolling. 🏁
