Step into the world of Impressionist art at the Center for the Arts of Greater Lapeer during the Paint Like the Masters: Monet’s Wife Camille with Baby workshop. 🎨 Guided by artist and instructor Gabriela Orza, participants will recreate one of Claude Monet’s beloved scenes while learning techniques inspired by his signature use of color, light, and expressive brushwork.
This oil-painting class gives students the chance to explore both Monet’s iconic style and the challenge of painting the human form on an 11”x14” canvas. No prior painting experience is needed, making this a welcoming and creative afternoon for beginners and seasoned art lovers alike. All materials are included with registration.
The workshop takes place at the Center for the Arts of Greater Lapeer and is open to the public. 🖌️ Registration is $45, and guests can enjoy a relaxed, hands-on experience while creating their own version of Monet’s famous family scene surrounded by flowers and natural light.
